SALON DE LA MUSIQUE 2008

I had the oportunity of going to the last day of the Salon this year in Paris. I have played with Adagio there in 2006 and it was of the highlights of my music career so far.
Had a blast and there was so much shit to see there could have no time to check everything out...

This is Michel Chevarria, the mind and soul behind Lâg Guitars. I truly appreciate being able to play his great guitars and having been captured by his camera. The main picture on Gus Monsanto's Myspace was taken by the great man. Hope our collaboration and friendshp lasts for years. I am a big fan!

A bit about our new album - the lineup for the new Takara album Invitation To Forever is Gustavo Monsanto (Timo Toliki) vocals, Neal Grusky Guitar, Bjorn Englen (Yngwie Malmsteen) Bass, and Patrick Johansson (Yngwie Malmsteen) Drums, and Brook Hansen Keyboards.
This album also features an extraordinary reunion off Jeff Scot Soto on back up vocals. It has been about 10 years since Jeff has last appeared on any Takara album. This album will be a bit different than past Takara albums.
Invitation To Forever will be a little bit heavier and have more edge than previous Takara albums, while still yet retaining the trademark distinctive Takara melodic rock. This is a very exciting album. Many fans will discover our new hidden gem on vocals, Brazilian vocal sensation Gustavo Monsanto. He will carry Takara. like his predecessors before him in true traditional Takara form and style. A maior loja de guitarras do mundo:

Não fica em NYC, não fica em Londres, Paris ou São Paulo. Fica em Nimes, a cidade de onde vem o jeans (denim = de-nimes, cultura inutil do dia...).
Cada vez que eu vou nessa loja, fico mais impressionado com apaixão de Cedric Vacquier, que é o dono, um amigo que além de colecionador de discos, é o cara que mais conhece guitarras que eu jah cruzei no caminho. Todas as guitarras dos guitar heros dos anos 80 ele temcopias na loja, entre milhars de outras coisas.
Quis fotografar e registrar aqui um pouco desse lugar, que é a maior loja de brinquedos do mundo. Charly e a fabrica de chocolate.

Willy Wonka mostra a nova Gibson onde vc não precisa abrir a guitarra pra trocar os captadores. Vc soh encaixa o captador que vc quiser. Se vc tem uma Les Paul e dez captadores diferetes pra usar numa gravaçao,ou experimentar, é ridiculo, nao precisa nem de uma chave de fenda. Genial!
